The Gluten Strikes Again

Due to Tyler's test results, we considered it wise to test Malakai. This morning we checked and found that his results came in positive. As we were reading the results, of course he was in the kitchen munching down on some wheat puff cereal. The test measures the units of antibodies raised against gluten in your body. Anything over 10 is a positive result for gluten sensitivity. Tyler's level was 23 and Malakai's was 45. Now we will be changing Malakai to a gluten free diet. Hopefully I will be able to figure out how to make some good cheap gluten free crackers. Feeding a toddler can be tricky even without being gluten free.
On a positive note we have been making progress on making good gluten free foods, such as - crepes, bread sticks, some cookies, and many good dinners. The hardest part is in baking, such as - breads, cakes, muffins, and brownies. We would like to tell everyone thank you for being so supportive. Your thoughtfulness has been much appreciated, and made transitioning to gluten free much easier.
These pictures aren't related to this post, but they are cute. Malakai very much enjoyed "carrying" Kayden on his back. And Kayden at least didn't mind.

Updated Pics

Kari requested more pictures of Kayden and Emilee concurred, so here are some updated pictures of both boys. :)

This is Kayden's fascinated face expression.
Love this smile!
Malakai having play dough for a snack. Note the blue face and hands.
Malakai dumped all his toys out of his "toy box" and sat in it for the entirety of his show.
Caught him eating uncooked sunburgers. Good thing it won't hurt him. He told me when I when I caught him "Mmmm, nummy sunburger!"
Other than Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, Kai has been pretty sick this past week. I have never seen him this sad before. He still has a cough, but is on the upside now.
Another picture of a happy Kayden.
Our boys :)
