Wyoming

We started our road trip to Washington D.C today! This is a picture of the truck we are driving with the car behind it. Its a fun truck, the windshield is huge, so you can see so much more.

There were a lot of windmills in Wyoming. Its a good place for them because Wyoming is very windy. I don't think I would like to stay too long.

Some cool rocks that we passed by.

We ate this place called Sweet Melissa's Cafe. The food was amazing, so yummy! We wish this place was closer to home so we could go there all the time. We took a picture of the lights because they are ordinary mason jars just screwed onto the lightbulbs. Very original.

Lake Powell

Here is our slide show from lake powell. We had a blast tubing, playing waverunner frisby, having an awesome birthday party, wakeboarding, jumping off the house boat, fixing the housboat(compliments of Tyler and his fellow mechanics), sleeping and getting lots of sun!

Beccah, Trisha, and Emily were the craziest on the tube, we all fell off at least at one point. Waverunner frisby is where someone from the houseboat throws the frisby and the person on the waverunner trys to catch it. It was way harder than it looks but Tyler was really good at it. On Wednesday Emily and I kicked our husbands off the houseboat for a while and they came back to a surprsie party with decorations and a cake. I made the cake in a big pot, because thats the best thing I could find! I'm amazed it tasted ok. It fell apart, but LeAnn put frosting on it and made it look all better. Tyler also got to go wakeboarding on smooth water for his birthday. There was a really pretty sunset behind him. We are all very proud of Emily, who jumped off the houseboat for the very first time. It was a big feat because she is afriad of falling. She conquered her fear!

We took a picture of this mountain that is close to Lake Powell. We call it fortress mountain. We think there must be a castle up there somewhere.. :)

Tyler's Birthday is coming up.. :)

Hey everyone.. Tyler's Birthday is on July 16th. We will be in the middle of our lake powell trip at that time. We have gone boating for his birthday for the past few years, and now this year I hope he feels really special because we are going boating the entire week of his birthday this year.. :) Im sure it will be a great birthday.. :) I hope that I can make his birthday half as special as he always makes mine for me. I will do my best, because he is really special to me. We will update you on the trip when we get back.

4th of July

We had lots of fun with all of our family. (except for Em, Eli in Portland and Trisha in Peru.. we miss them! Hope you guys had a fun 4th, send us Pictures!) We went into the Mountains near Morgan and went 4-wheeling, it was very pretty. Once we got past 6pm the weather was nice too(its always really hot during the day of course). Dave blew bubbles and Katie(the dog) started to catch them, it didn't take long before Kenzi and Camdyn started copying her. Only instead of using their hands, they tried to catch them with their mouths because thats what Katie did. It couldn't have tasted great, but they were having fun! On the 5th we had a dinner and fireworks at Beccah's parents house. The girls loved the poppers, Hannah got sawdust all over Papa as a gift.:) Melissa wanted to make sure no one popped hers but her, and Katie danced on them instead of popping them.

Rockclimbing

These are the pix from our awesome rock climbing adventure! This is my first time Rockclimbing! I made it to the top twice! Tyler climbed a 5.11.c, which is pretty hard, you guys know him- he is always climbing something!:)
