Hat Edition

Malakai's 12 year old cousin Kenzi dressed him up in some of her clothes to entertain him, when we went to visit. He spent a large portion of the evening dressed up this way.

The baby got some clothes in the mail and Kai really wanted to wear them. I tried to explain that it was too little and he really didn't seem to get it, so I put them on his head. He thought it was really cool and wanted a picture. This first pair is so small that it is squishing his head, but he didn't seem to mind.

This is Malakai throwing one of his quiet fits. Sometimes he throws a temper tantrum, other times when it is time to go somewhere and he doesn't want to he lays on his stomach on the ground where ever you are (and yes he does do it in the middle of the parking lot).

Dinosaur Museum And Jumping At The Mall

Malakai was playing at the play place in the Mall and Tyler and I were noticing the cool trampoline and agreeing that someday Kai would love to jump on it. Well, along came a tiny little girl who got strapped up and did just fine. So we asked the attendant if he could go, and he said as long as he was 2. So this lucky little boy got to jump on the trampoline and he loved it! I can never get the pictures to go in the right order, so I have these pictures here and the videos of him jumping at the end.

Getting strapped up.
My brilliant sister informed me that the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point had $2 Tuesdays during the month of August. So we got to go with Katie, Melissa, and Hannah on their last chance before school started. Amazingly Kai sat for long enough to get a picture with his cousins sitting down. Most of the time he was so excited that it was all we could do to keep up with him. Luckily we were smart enough to bring his monkey or we probably would have lost him in the crowd.
Kai decided he didn't like wet sand on his hands, so he played with it a little bit, but he mostly ran around and liked to wash his hands off. Melissa, Hannah, and Katie however, loved this section of the Museum.
Katie was an especially good builder in the sand.
