We had a crazy and fun week where we had the privilege of Emilee and Eli visit, Tyler left for Virginia, we cleaned(or at least my Mom did), and moved out or our apt, and I flew to Virginia with 2 little boys! The following are pictures from these events in no certain order, as I'm generally not patient enough to put it in a certain order.
Malakai and Sophy collecting eggs at the Gerber Easter Egg Hunt.
Ivy at the Gibson Easter Egg Hunt.
Ivy and Malakai
Ivy(I love this picture of her, she is so gorgeous!)

This is Malakai's new face when you tell him to say cheese. He says "cheese" and squints his eyes, usually shut. I love how this picture shows how much Kayden loves Kai. He loves watching what he does and no one can get Kayden to laugh like Malakai can.
I didn't get any pictures of the plane ride because my focus was on making it their alive and at least somewhat sane. My wonderful father-in-law drove me up to the airport and helped me check in my bags, and get through security(they allowed him to), and than took me to the gate. On the first flight we had a bit of a delay and it was hard to keep Malakai quiet while we waited til we could get to the point that I was allowed to get out the portable DVD player for him. But we did ok, and he didn't get too crazy. Once his juice and show and gf animal crackers were all ready for him, he was super quiet. We had the roughest landing in our layover in Chicago that I have ever had. It was very windy, so we had a lot of turbulence in our descent and than it seemed like the pilot landed at a slight angle or something. With the delay and the short layover time, we had just enough time to get off the plane in Chicago, get the kids in the stroller, and get to the next terminal just as the A group was boarding. Wonderful, thoughtful people helped me to open the stroller and close it up, each time we got on or off an airplane. Malakai was better on the second flight, I think because he was so tired. He actually requested at one point to stop watching shows and lay his head on my arm. I had Kayden sleeping on my left arm, and Kai fell asleep on my right arm, as we were descending in Norfolk, VA. I tried desperately to wake him up so he could walk off the plane, but was not successful. There was a very nice flight attendant who sat and watched him while I put Kayden in the stroller and came back for Malakai. I very much appreciated everyone's kindness and generosity.

Glad that you had help on your travels with two kids. Thanks for letting us stay with you during that crazy time. If you did live in a beach house like Ivy thinks (Malakai's house in Viriginia Beach = beach house), you might find you had us as house guests for much longer. :)
