We got to go to the Beach for my birthday, I had lots of fun. It was pretty windy, so my hair was a rats nest, but it felt great outside. It wasn't hot or cold. Malakai LOVED the beach! He would walk along the edge, heading toward the ocean....until he realized it was coming for him. Than we would get scared and either head away from the ocean or freeze. Jeff said the first time he got really surprised by a wave, so he lost his balance and sat down. Resulting in a soaked backside. He really didn't seem to mind though. A short time later he sat down in the dry sand, therefore making it completely impossible to get pretty much any sand off him until he had a bath. He was a really good sport, and didn't want to leave the ocean. He was very preoccupied with the water and the sand and the shells, so we couldn't get him to look at the camera at all for any of the pictures.
Malakai doesn't like to stop and watch TV very often. But today he sat up on this chair(no coaxing involved) and sat and watched for 10 minutes. I'd say thats amazing.

I love how Malakai is checking out the sand in every picture instead of looking up. I want to go to the beach.
